I have two books on the go - Howard Zinn's 'A People's History of the United States' which I'm halfway through, except I've been reading it for about six months on and off. Basicially, it's been a stitch up from the beginning, when the first Indian was shot in the back...
For class, Viktor Frankl's 'Man's Search for Meaning' a renowned existentalism text basicially stating that in even the most adverse situations, a person can decide to create meaning through suffering which will enable them to survive that situation. For example, watching Wolves lose, the fan can find comfort in the sunny sky above, and get through 90 minutes of misery before escaping.

Hi Rich. Liking the sound of 'Man's Search for Meaning'. Have probably read a few books like that in my time. I'm reading Russell Brand's 'My Booky Wook' which is almost similar, but probably in a more humourous, farcical sort of way! He is a true genius with words.... and very funny without meaning to be.......
